Climate Change Vulnerability Index

This tool gives land managers a way to apply readily available information about plant and animal species’ exposure, sensitivity, and adaptive capacity to predict their relative vulnerability to climate change. 

The interactive site offers a set of guidelines with comprehensive instructions and explanation of calculation details. The Climate Change Vulnerability Index (CCVI) can help managers assess the relative risk of species listed in State Wildlife Action Plans or those undergoing Species Status Assessments.
